Starcraft 2

Between the worlds that we wander lie strange grounds covered by even stranger skies. Here is where the alter egos of the bizarre realm known as "Real Life" gather - (Out-of-Character glade)

Anybody else think the 5 match placement system doesn't work? I won 4 out of the 5 matches, got placed with the "gold" league and then have preceded to get face stomped ever since.

You know the old saying? Cow manure probably tastes great, 10 million flies can't be wrong! ;)

"World of Warcraft...you are no Everquest!"

I don't deny its success, not do I deny that I had quite some fun playing it. That said, I respectfully say wow sucks.

It is like the Walmart of MMOs. Very wealthy and successful by any financial, customers, and customer satisfaction. But is the Walmart the best an Grocery, is it the best electronic store, is it the best toy store, is the the best of any single department? I would say, no.

However WOW, like Walmart, overall as a whole it is decent and worthy of some respect in its accomplishments. But it is not to MMOS, in my opinion, what the 1911 is to Springfield or Kimber, etc.. etc..

WoW attracts a lot of heat from people who just like to naysay; most of which isn't based on sizable experience or knowledge, just a snap judgement. It's not perfect by any means, but it's advanced the genre and contains features other games haven't come close to accomplishing: facts the naysayers are loathe to admit.

I am a naysayer of WoW... and completely give credit to the fact that it has furthered the MMO genre... More people play MMOs now because WoW has brought it to the common place for people that never would have stepped into an MMO

What i cant stand is the grind to max lvl... grind for purples...

What i do like is it has decent raiding and encourages teamwork during them.

It is to simplistic for me... but if you like WoW... by all means play it. Doest change my opinion that its like a nursery school mmo though. /cackles madly

Every MMORPG has a grind. It's part of the business model. I'm hoping that SWtoR will be the most sucessful MMORPG ever in hiding that fact, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm just not a huge fan of any MMO where the main end game content is PvE

I've decided to swear off all pvp that isn't nearly 100% skill based. So basically all that remains is strategy and shooters.
