So you know, the corp I am in is a pvp centered corp. Now, we do have miners and builders, but they still pvp when the times call for it. You might want to look into other corps that are more indy based, but you know you are always welcome to come out and try, but like I said, 308 (my corp) pvps and most rat for isk.

Could also try out low sec, which is a heck of a lot easier to get to. In a way it's not quite as safe as 0.0 because you don't have anyone watching your back, but at the same time it's more forgiving and easier to get away from. Good test before going out to 0.0, IMO, although extremely dangerous in it's own way.

Oh, also, just to make it more confusing for Derel:

Nul sec is 0.0 space,

Null sec is actually generally -1 to 0.0, not just 0.0 ;)

As mentioned you WILL die in any space .4 and below. It is not a question of if, but when. Remember, never undock anything that you are not prepared to loose. And I would agree/say that low sec is more dangerous thatn 0.0. In low sec you can't trust ANYONE, in a 0.0 alliance you can trust the blues, well you can trust them a little ;) Again if relaxed mining is your thing then stay in high sec, there is nothing wrong with that. 0.0 is for the active (staring at local :) EVE player), who wants their pulse raising from time to time.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
