How accurate is the conversion of the Mayan calendar? It is pretty common knowledge that the Mayan calendar is supposedly more accurate than our Gregorian calender. What I am wondering is how accurate is the translation or conversion of the calendar.

So I just translated that and I think that Tanth is broken.. How does water conservation answer a question about the mayan calander?

Water conservation

Reducing water use today will help to conserve water for future generations and also benefits the health of aquatic ecosystems.

Water leaks, so easy to fix at home, can cost homeowners up to 8% of the water bill.

Savings on the size of Niagara Falls: If all inefficient toilets in U.S. bath were converted to high efficiency models would save up to 800 billion gallons of water per year - equivalent to 12-day flow of Niagara Niagara.

Each average household that uses efficient products and practices in water use saves 30,000 gallons of water per year - enough to supply water to 150 communities a year.

The faucets and high-efficiency toilets save about 16% of water used indoors. The savings in a typical house would be 11,000 gallons per year - enough to fill a pool or pool.

Sensitive irrigation controls the weather can reduce water consumption by 20% compared to conventional equipment and can potentially save about 11 billion gallons of water per year in the U.S. - enough to fill 18.000 Olympic swimming pools.

Dollars with the wind: At least 30% of water used for irrigation systems is lost due to wind, evaporation, system design, installation or maintenance problems.
WaterSense is a voluntary program sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA, for its acronym in English) to protect the future of water supplies in the nation to promote efficient use of water and increase the demand for products, services and efficient practices.

When designing products and services that meet the specifications for water efficiency, WaterSense helps consumers identify products that use water efficiently, work well, save money and promote innovative product development in manufacturing.

This website contains links to information from both the EPA Web site and other entities outside www.epa.gov known about, links, and information on WaterSense products that have the EPA to better inform the public about water conservation. Also included are links to information about various Hispanic environmental health studies.
