Mining rocks

Postby Voronwe Eldalom » Tue Oct 05, 2010 5:20 am

This week, the New Eden chapter mixed up our mining night by forcing the barges to face certain peril in the depths of wormhole space. Our risk was rewarded with a hefty haul of the two most expensive ores and a satisfying dose of adrenaline. Mining rocks!

Great Work Vor!

Sorry I was late, but glad I could help turn that Arkanor into rubble - this had to be the best mining op I've been to!

I love it, but when looking at the "bumper boats" it makes my heart hurt. We MUST work on our spacing. If we had been jumped at that moment we would have lost some ships.

The original WH was in Aug, with a secondary WH within that pocket. We got all of the Arkano rock, and at least some of the Bistot (not sure how late the others stayed).

And yeah, we had a scout in the pocket where we were mining.

Not sure on this, but perhaps, for the next time, should we have the scout in the firts WH pocket rather than the second? Especially considering we were doing the classic indie haul, knowing that pocket was still empty would be useful. That said, maybe we did have someone at the first entrance that I didn't know about.

See, this is what happens when you show up late - you have no idea what is going on...
